PsyTech VRET system to help
500 mln people

Therapy for millions of people

Today, we would like to tell the story of how the idea came up to create and launch a revolutionary product in the field of mental health.

The Chief Science Officer of PsyTech VR - Inna Maltseva - is a psychologist with more than 10 years of experience in offering phobia therapy. While practicing mental exposure techniques she noticed that people have difficulties with visualizing their fears in the imagination.

World Health Organization provides the statistics that 7,5%

of the population have at least 1 phobia, and it doesn't allow us to live life to its full potential, but PsyTech VR is ready to help the world

PHOBIA PATIENTS USE TO ESCAPE PUBLIC PLACES, DATE NEW PEOPLE, HAVE PETS, FLY, SWIM IN THE OCEAN, OR EVEN TAKE A TAXI BECAUSE OF SOCIAL CONTACTS

In what way phobias can be treated?

In what way phobias can be treated?

The first thing that 99% of all the specialists that work with phobias can name is Mental Imagery. This method was created at the end of the 19th century, and it can be explained in the following way - the doctor asks the patient to close the eyes and visualize in the brain the real-life situation of certain fear and phobia. However, let's have a look at certain phobias like aerophobia (flying on an aircraft), mysophobia (germs) or even seismophobia (earthquakes). And here we can point to 3 main problems:

  1. You have to be James Cameron to imagine those real-life situations with the power of your imagination
  2. The patient won't be fully immersed in fear while sitting in the cabinet and trying to imagine those scenarios the only power of the brain
  3. The doctor won't have access to your imagination and does not really know what are your thoughts
Also, you can say – the Real-life Experience of Fear. But in reality, this is extremely unsafe. For example, there are various risks of facing arachnophobia patients with real spiders without special preparations and techniques which are always given while therapy sessions.

An innovative VR approach to the existing problem

An innovative VR approach to the existing problem

From this point, we would like to present PsyTech VR - virtual reality exposure therapy (VRET) service, which allows users to immerse themselves in various virtual environments, but in a safe way. Our product is a combination of distance learning, VR/AR and telemedicine to help people overcome fears and phobias all over the world.

We help people overcome phobias in the comfort of the home, forming a training camp for their fears and phobias, where they are the main characters of victorious battles!

Also, you can train phobias with the therapist, by finding proper specialists at the marketplace. To participate in the consultation, use the VR telemedicine system and bio-sensors to track health indicators while training. After the end of the therapy session, you and the doctor will have access to training statistics and infographics to better understand the effectiveness of PsyTech VR.
